The amazon site says 1080p compatible. The box says 1080i. Never mind the box, it is doing a fine job linking a 1080p upscaling DVD recorder to a 1080p television. Until we sort out true 1080p input we will never know whether the cable is any kind of limit to quality. For the moment we are very satisfied with the cable performance.

Seems fine to me. I have a QED HDMI-P which costs 50 and there is a difference, but for 4 quid, who can argue with that. I use it for my DivX player so any lack of colour or sharpness isnt going to be that significant. I would try and compare it to my Blu-Ray PS3 Sony 2000W40 with QED cable, but this cable here only supports 720p/50 or 1080i/25 and getting round the back to swap cable over is a real nightmare, just be told, 4 its as good as any other non genuine 'hifi' cable so long as you dont need full on 1080p.
