Brilliant June 28, 2008 S. Dusting (UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I eventually chose this model over many others in this size and I have to say it is fantastic-the colours are rich and vibrant, the design is understated, classy and the build quality is great (I prefer the plain black bezel to the tacky piano black bezel other lcd's have) and sound is fine for a 32inch lcd. I have an Xbox360 hooked up and it looks brilliant-really natural colours. br / br /In short I would recommend this lcd, no problem.
Sony. The best you can buy, no question. June 19, 2008 Mr. P. Spooner (Sheffield, UK) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Like many others i spent months deliberating over the endless 32" LCD's available. I did online research but i also conducted several "field tests" in stores and friends homes. I am no techno-geek but i have a good pair of eyes. I have friends with various size and model Sony, Samsung, Panasonic and Phillips LCD's so i visited them over the last 3 months, compared them all working and made an informed decision that way. Samsung bezel looks very nice but picture is not very clever at all. Panasonic Philips are good but have nothing on the Bravia. The colours are breathtaking and the sharpness of the picture is unbeatable. I spent 30 minutes tweaking the picture over several channels, comprehensive but straightforward menu's but once you get it spot on you will not get anything close which is not in HD. If you get it right you could be easily fooled into thinking you are watching HD as i have seen several HD TV's in action, despite this i will be upgrading with Sky to HD so i can't wait for that !. As for gaming i have a Wii (with component cable) and XBOX in HD and it is spot on. br /My previous 2 TV's have been Sony and i was tempted to stray before doing the "field tests". I will be looking in future for for a 40"+ LCD or plasma and also a projector for a home cinema room. I will not look at any other brand but Sony. You know what you are getting with Sony. The best. br /If you are looking for 32" and this is within budget (should be as priced at lower end) stop now. Buy this at this price and you will not be disappointed.
Sony...speaks for itself! June 16, 2008 Sunil Chauhan (London, UK) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful

Go for it June 11, 2008 J. M. Chalmers 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have spent about 3/4 of a year looking and deliberating over tv's, waiting for new tv's to come out and waiting for the price to change. I have watched the price of this tv rise and fall also, although it has remained at 439 for some time. I finally went for it, everything i read kept bringing me back to this tv. when you buy a sony you know you are getting a quality product that will last you many years. It looks great the picture is fantastic, when you make a few adjustments (see the discussions). I attached a basic little ring internal aerial off of an old tv just to try my luck and i managed to receive about 80 freeview channels! so if like me you are planning to use in a room without an aerial point, you may be fine. Simply and easy to you, very happy with my decision, i only wished i bought it sooner and stopped wasting time looking at others!
Outstanding service and value June 11, 2008 Happy Medium (:Peterborough) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Very quick delivery on the day specified which makes life easier if you work. Replaces a very heavy Philips TV, so very easy to handle and looks smart. Set up by an oldie in 20 minutes. Great TV and delighted with saving so much against Tesco price. Every little helps! br /
