Incredibly Fun February 24, 2008 Mr. C. D. Murphy (St Brelades) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Have just bought a Wii and bought this game with and I am not disappointed. I was a bit wary about venturing into a 3D Mario game as I have always preferred platform 2D Mario like the originals on the SNES as well as "NEW Super Mario Bros". br /However I am now addicted to this as it holds the original likeabilities such as the original power up Flower power plus several more such as Bee, Ghost, Ice, Spring, Rainbow (star power) and I think theres a couple more. Im also surprised at the amount of variety and levels in the game, the levels are challenging and filled with different types of villains and accomplices. I would deffinately reccomend this game to any Mario fan and to any one buying a Wii and looking for a couple of games to go with it, let this game be one of them.
Flawless February 20, 2008 Mr. J. E. Norman (Petersfield) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Having recently completed Super Mario Galaxy, i must say that i have loved every second of it. br /The Graphics make it look incredible, the sound is, as in most Mario Games, expectional, and the Gameplay is as close to perfect as possible. The levels are beautifully designed, and many are challenging, but not too the extent that they can make the user frustrated, and all the levels are very fun, and extremely satisfying once you complete them. br /The game is a basic Mario Game, like Sunshine or 64, plus you are in space, and gravity becomes a huge part. br /The only negative thing that the game leaves me feeling is that how could nintendo possibly follow this up, as, in my eyes, the game has no flaws, and any new game in space would simply be a copy. br /I am eagerly awaiting the next.
Superb! February 15, 2008 M. Jende (Leicestershire) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Just got my Wii and whacked this game on - brilliant! To start with my fiancee who never normally plays games said this was rubbish, and to start with the game is a bit confusing, but after 10 min we were both hooked and spent the next 2 hours glued to this. The graphics are amazing on the 42" plasma we have. I bought the component cable to give better quality graphics and also plugged the Wii into my surround sound system - the music is fantastic - well that's enough raving, off to play....
SUPER MARIO AND NINTENDO - A PERFECT COMBINATION! February 14, 2008 FAMOUS NAME (UNITED KINGDOM) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
br /I knew I wasn't making a mistake when I purchased my Nintendo Wii Console with the 'Super Mario Galaxy' Game package offer! As if any Mario Game could possibly be a disappointment, but this far surpassed anything I could have expected! All the familiar themes are here, but with the HUGE and exciting new experience playing on the super Wii Console! br / br /As always; Nintendo can be relied upon to come up with the goods and to always remain true to their providing great games, as well as sticking to their famous themes and characters that have become their trademark. br / br /Highly recommended games playing for all - and not least to all us Super Mario fans out there! br / br /A MILLION Stars for this!!!
Very Good Game! February 13, 2008 NAR (UK) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I'll be honest my first impressions on this game was it was rubbish! i played for a bit then threw it aside but a few days later i read loads of good reviews on here (Amazon) and thought i would give the game another try and get further in the game before i say it is rubbish. Well i have got to say i really enjoy the game now, the creativity of the game is fantastic and most of the galaxies are very fun. br / br /The game can be very easy at times but it does have its challenging parts were you find yourself retrying a few times. The graphics are very good which im surprised about as the Wii is not well known for good graphics but there still very good. br / br /The controls are one of the things that make this game so fun, Super Mario Galaxy uses the Wii control very good as you shake the control to do a spin attack and you can shoot crystal things at enemies by pointing at the TV with the Wii control. You use the nunchuck to move and press A to jump etc the controls are simple but fun! br / br /Super Mario Galaxy is a very creative game which is why i love it so much! the levels are always fantastic although there is some annoying races or against the time levels at times but that does not stop you and make you want to give up instead it makes you want to try even harder to get further so you can see what amazing level is next! br / br /I really like this game now but did not at first i would say for some people it may take a while for you to start liking (like me) but for others they will love it from the start! br / br /Recommend to buy Super Mario Galaxy!
