Unexpected bonusJuly 12, 2007 N. Reynolds(Norwich, UK) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Was surprised when the gym cardio machines read my heart rate from the strap - I didn't need to grip the sensors, or check the monitor on my wrist. br / br /Very handy.

As an ex fitness instructor I can recomend this item, does all you would want and for less than you should expect to pay. Its as good as any I have used in a gym before and its simple to use. One of my best buys.
Great HRM for priceFebruary 6, 2007 P. Wimpenny 37 out of 37 found this review helpful
This Oregon HRM is a bargain at this price and records an accurate heart rate direct from a chest strap so that you can keep within a safe range of excercise for your age. When you have manually entered your minumum and maximum heart rate (formula given in the instructions) you can set an alarm to warn you when you are under and overperforming in the gym. It also has a stopwatch and cool blue light. Most of these entry level HRTs start at about 30 so I would recommend this. You won't be disappointed.
