 Great bit of kit let down by ... September 6, 2008
firstly i must point out this is a great bit of kit, with excellent sound quality - however there are a few pit-falls.
Looks = 10/10 ... need say no more other than it's a gorgeous piece of kit.
Sound = 8/10 ... sound is good, but heavy bass can distrort across a wide variety of music. This can be mitigated using the iPods equaliser settings, but isn't convenient (Bass & treble on the unit would have been good!)
Usability = 8/10 ... easy to use, however a few quirks - everytime you power on the device it's set at mid-range volume (which is very loud!!). Also, the docking isn't the easiest in the world ... feels a little unsettled!
Durability = 5/10 ... i was a proud owner for 8 months until the iPod stopped docking correctly, in that it would no longer produce sound (unless you tilted it forward an extra 15 degs ... which isn't great, or convenient). To amazon's credit they issued a replacement within 3 days with no fuss ... however, the replacement was DoA :'(
Taking into account all of the above i'll rate as 4 out of 5, as i'm sure i've just been unlucky with the products i've received.

I brought this product after looking into the Bose alternative. The price difference is essentially what clinched it for me and at this price, the Klipsch speakers can't be found cheaper (or at least I couldn't find a site offering new items for a lower price.)
The quality of the speakers is superb and has been commented on by all that have heard the speakers. I would advise anyone who is looking for a pair of reliable speakers to buy these.

Absolutely perfect in every way ! Beautiful looks, neat, compact and the sound is incredible. I have a few different sound docks and in my eyes/ears....it beats my bose sounddock in every way. No music distortion, no computerised music alterations, just plays it how its meant to. More powerful bass and just a delight for the ears.....VERY impressed, these guys knew what they were doing creating this and at such a realistic price. Get yourself one if you haven't already. Brill !!! :-)

For all the idiots who gave this one star...well there retards...
The sound quality is immense! The bass is incredibvel for such a small system...I do no a lot about sound and video so im some idiot who thinks there good when there not.
I would HIGHLY recomend these to EVERYONE!
And u say a guy who rated these one star...He said the bass on his hip-hop music was rubbish...I play high bass dance and hiphop...proper dance music through these and the bass is insane! there awsome

Having scouted around various stores for the perfect i-pod speakers for my i-pod touch I came across this item in Amazon. All the reviews are spot on here, this is a lovely piece of kit for parties, which I have a lot of! and by buying with Amazon saved a whopping 50. The sound is excellent and does not distort when you pump up the volume.
Highly recommended and not to be overlooked.
