 Good sound, poor reception July 7, 2008
As an iPod dock this is fine - easy to use and a good sound. It seems well made and was easy to set up.
So far though I've managed to tune into only one DAB station, much less than on a previous DAB radio. FM reception was only ok as well. It's a pity you can't plug it into an external aerial.
Still, I use it every day for iPod and FM radio and am still pleased with it.

As another reviewer said, lucky Amazon make it so easy to return items. I plugged the first one in, didn't work, but I thought I'd give it another chance as all the other reviews were so good. Second time it didn't work, I asked for a refund.
Great sounds and build quality June 25, 2008
OK this item is agreed a tad expensive. However this is a quality product, the case is very well constructed with two speakers at the frount and a back bass speaker which means the unit produces very clear sound. Reception from the DAB radio also very good. I particuarly like the way the ipod doc pushes in when not in use.

I have to say that I'm pretty happy with this, although the main reason I got it was to use as an alarm clock, and the lowest volume setting when using as an alarm is far too loud, and is likely to wake everyone in my street.
A better solution would be to allow the volume level to be set, or to use the volume when it was switched off (firmware update...?).
Apart from that, it works well and looks good.

A dock with a DAB radio. Fantastic. Works perfectly, sound great, don't even need to extend the aerial out at all to receive perfect reception of all stations, so remains neatly folded behind unit. Great product, if you are thinking about buying this product and end up getting a dock without a radio, you will regret it!
