Trouble November 6, 2007 O. Williams (London) My daughter has taken over my car with this CD. its all we listen to at home, car, garden etc. br /I cant wait to watch the HSM on ice .
Not as good as HSM but still AMAZE! October 28, 2007 Ms. M. E. Walker (London) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Like HSM, HSM2 is full of catchy songs that you can't help but sing along to. If you've seen the movie also, listening to the songs just makes you remember what happened in it, as each song pretty much narates what was going on at the time. The second movie and album created just as much hype as the first one and this is well deserved. The first HSM was new, and that's probably why I would rate it thigher, and its songs, but that doesn't negate the fact that this is still a top album for any fans, or those who still haven't converted. A personal favourite is 'what time is it?" which is probably the main song of the film, and can't help but get you in the mood for the rest of the songs. br / br /So to sum up this is a must album for any fans. You can't not like the album, as the cheese and happiness of all the lyrics and beats is what makes it what it is! br / br /HSM2 continues to amaze!
The kids love it September 25, 2007 Neil Butler (Poole) 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
God bless High School Musical and all it's merchandise. The CD's, DVD's, interactive board games etc, making life as a parent that much easier. The songs on this album are every bit as good as the last, so it's not just a case of tolerating it for the kids sake, it has plenty to recommend as a guilty pleasure for adults too.
Better Soundtrack than the first - and thats hard to do!!! September 25, 2007 Gemma Wright (Weston-s-Mare, Somerset, UK) 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
I am a complete sequal convert!!! br /I love this album - with one acception....read on..... br / br /1. What Time Is It? br /Amazing song - amazing dance moves, love it, love it!! br / br /2. Fabulous br /One of the best songs for comedy value on either album - Its truely and absolutely Fabulous!! br / br /3. Work This Out br /I love this song, the beat is amazing and the dance is fantastic. Great vocals too br / br /4. You Are The Music In Me br /This song pops up a couple of times in the movie, and i really love hearing it. The words are great br /and the harmonies sound perfect br / br /5. I Don't Dance br /The best dance in the whole film and one of the best songs. I love the rivalry between Chad br /and Ryan within this track, and it just adds to it's appeal. br / br /6. Sharpay's You Are The Music In Me br /THE BEST SONG ON THE ALBUM! I love this upbeat version, and Troys high notes in the chorus br /are musical genious!! If this track was released as a single into the charts, i'd definatly buy it!! br / br /7. Gotta Go My Own Way br /I love the vocals in this song - they're so perfect for the way Gabriella feels at that point in the br /film, and i love singing along to this one br / br /8. Bet On It br /I'm so glad Zac Efron is doing his own vocals on this album because he has a fantastic br /voice, and i love the backdrop and scenes that accompany the song in the film. Great Track! br / br /9. Everyday br /Amazing song. I love that the whole cast join in for this one. It's a real tear-jerker! br / br /10. All For one br /A great summer sizzler!! The pool and bright colours in the film just add to the warmth and br /funkyness. Perfect summer track br / br /11. Humuhumunukunukuapua'a br /well! this is silly! the only song (if you can call it that) that lets this amazing soundtrack br /down. I suppose it's ok if your five and wanna dance around and be wierd. br / br /Overall, a fantastic, fabulous, creative, summery, sing-along spectacular! br /Love It! Love It! Love It! br / br /

This CD gives you a taste of the up coming movie but the tracks aren't the best there isn't a track like Stick to the Stauts Quo and Bop to the Top the tracks are less livily but they are still worth a listen and the movie should be great if you liked the first soundtrack thismay dissapoint you but it may grow on you as I have only listened to it once (09/09/2007). br /
