3 out of 5 stars Good game but gets boring and frustrating   August 7, 2008
Ms. W. L. Stockdale (Tyne and Wear)
This game can be great fun but, it has its limits. I find that it can quickly become boring and repetative. It can also be quite frustrating as the voice recognition is sometimes poor and you find yourself yelling at it to get it to regonise what you are saying, in addition sometimes it does not recognise what you are writing. br / br /Dr Kawashimas "waffling" can become rather tiresome as well!

5 out of 5 stars Good outweighs the bad.   July 26, 2008

I agree that this game can get incredibly boring and frustrating due to Kawashimas comments but simply by selecting that you cannot talk when you are doing the test will lower your brain age. The variety of games does get boring but unlocking them all is fun so until you've done that the game definitely keeps you interested. Worth playing.

4 out of 5 stars First if its kind!   July 10, 2008

I think everyone in the world has heard of this game now. I played it long before Nicole Kidman decided her brain age was too low!. It is very good but there just simply arent enough puzzles. At the start you are motivated to play everyday to unlock the puzzles. Once you have done that however it slowly gets tedious to just do the same puzzles all the time. I'm not saying its a boring game but for me, once the novelty had worn off i put it one side never to be played again. Yes the good Dr will scold me for not playing on a daily basis!. I liked the parts where you had to draw things and remember what you had for dinner last night but those tasks didnt seem to come up often enough for me. br / br /So i would recommend it - just to see what your brain age is the first time you try the test! 80 anyone?

great game, the daily training is fun, brain age check is hilarious especially after working a nightshift, think i might be obsessed with playing it daily though. br / br /this game motivates you, makes doing tasks fun and if your friends have it makes for funny conversation. br / br /this game wont make you smarter, it will make you think faster.

3 out of 5 stars It's ok, but could be better   June 26, 2008

I found that the voice recognition worked well but had problams with it reconising my hand writing. br / br /Maths isn't my stong point so i did loose interest in the training. Prefer the sight trainer.
