5 out of 5 stars Nicely done   January 2, 2007

The nunchuck is a great attachment as it gives an analogue stick, two extra buttons and like the wii remote can be motion sensored. It fits well in your hand and gives the wii remote the ability to control your more normal games like Zelda but in a more fun way.

The Wii Nunchuck is a must have accessory for any wii gamer. Although the nintendo wii comes with one wiimote and nunchuck, if you want to play any game in multiplayer, it will be necessary to purchase another wiimote as well as a nunchuck to enjoy the game fully. In fact, most games require the nunchuck to play and it is not optional to play with just the wiimote. br / br /I can find no reason to give this device such a poor review, nintendo tries to include games from all backgrounds and with the wii, all age groups. Seeing older relatives get involved in games is great fun, without such revolutionary controls they would not be so interested. br / br /The nunchuck is simple to move, it consists a basic 4 way motion sensor and analogue control stick alongside a trigger button and a c button, both easily operable by ones thumb and forefinger. In my opinion it is easier to use than a standard controller especially if you have joint problems such as arthritis. br / br /In summary Nintendo has tried very hard to build an inclusive controller, and even though for some it may not be ideal, i think it strikes the best balance, between inclusion and functionality.

5 out of 5 stars A Very Good Add-On   January 1, 2007

This is a very useful add-on for the Wii Remote. It gives you the freedom of 3D-Movement on screen in games such as Zelda or Red Steel and is also motion sensitive like the Remote so you use both hands to interact with the games. It also give you two more buttons (Z and C) so you have even more control over your gameplay. Included with the console and a must buy for each remote you own!!

4 out of 5 stars A useful piece of equipment   December 31, 2006

The nunchuck controller has to be one of the best add ons to a gaming controller I have ever seen. The new nintendo wii remote is amazing! But the wii-mote is nothing without the nunchuck, the nunchuck enables the player to help move on a lot of games, such as red steel, call of duty 3 and boxing on wii sports. br / br /The nunchuck is truly a much needed piece of equipment if you are considering buying a nintendo wii video game.

I find it hard to understand why people with disabilities such as yours would consider buying a Wii console if your movement is limited, surely you read the specifications and reviews on the console before you considered buying it,would you have bought one if you we're blind? I understand that console manufacturers should make their products more useable for everybody, but have you also considered that a disability is just that, not able to do things more able bodied people take for granted.. I wager you have not complained to your local bowling alley manager about the fact you cant bowl because of your disability. If we go down the route of catering for everybody would the majority not be disabled by the fact that we all have to be limited by only having things everybody can do. should we just restrict everything to a level everybody can achieve, or should we accept there are things not everybody can do?
