No need to comment on the headphones themselves - they are great, esp on the tube. br / br /The thing for me was the packaging. I HATE the plastic packaging these headphones normally come in with a vengeance- they are not recyclable, they are hard to impossible to get into (even with scissors) and way to easy to cut myself on. br / br /By contrast, these are in recycled corrugated cardboard. The packaging is well thought out from a "stop people stealing them" point of view, is fully recyclable (and recycled), and looks really cool, too. br / br /Bravo Sennheiser for making both a fantastic pair of headphones, and a great package.

The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars is that I don't think the sound quality is as good as Sony. Certainly the bass isn't all that. However these are still a very good choice the sound is a lot better than what I expected, pretty good in fact. Regarding the overall quality I tend to wind the cord around my ipod have stood on the ear pieces dragged them across the ground. I also wear them while walking at the gym. So far I've had no problems. Some people have complained the quality is tinny I haven't experienced that I suggest the ear piece hasn't been fitted into the ear properly. This does take some getting used to if you haven't had this type of design before. Its good that the ear plugs come in different sizes. Yes I would buy these again.

Top product, second pair I've brought due to losing the others, sound is top! Get'em brought you wont regret it! Note to the user who says they need better instructions, there ear phones! There is 3 differnt sized plugs to cater for various sized ear cannels! Work it out Sherlock! br / br /Packaging is bio degradeable, who gives a hoot if the is lots of it (which there isn't really) makes a change no plastic!

I bought this based on the reviews that were already here. They were right. These headphones are fantastic. I pluged them into an iphone using a headphone splitter, with the Apple Iphone headphones plugged into the socket. Verdict; The Iphone headphones are (Can't use the word I want to use) rubbish. I would say these headphons are at least 5 times better than the iphone headphones, yet apple's headphones, no doubt cost twice as much as these. I was so impressed, I bought a second set for my partner. Go on, you won't be sorry.
