Not bad September 13, 2008 Whosthedaddy (Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex, England) I got 2 of these as I've always been quite happy with Kingston. br / br /I did some tests on performance: br /Copied 5 x 100Mb files to the drive - ranged from 35 - 40 seconds over 4 tests. br /Copied them back again in about 30 seconds - A little disappointed with this, I expected it to be a lot quicker. br / br /Overall a good flash drive.
Small is beautiful... September 11, 2008 K. Jamison (Co. Down, United Kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Imagine 2 DVDs or even 11 CDs full of data... pretty big, eh? br / br /Smaller than a penknife, this unit carries all your files between PC or Mac or Linux. I use it for file transfer as well as diagnostic programs. br / br /Invaluable. br / br /Having bought each of the previous Kingston DataTravellers, from 128MB upwards, the 8GB was a must-have for me based on compatibility and reliability. br / br /The cap can be clipped to the end for safekeeping, stops any dust and stuff getting into the contacts unlike some other 'slide to open' units. br / br /It's not compatible with ReadyBoost, but I have little access to Vista systems. My own Vista system has 4GB of RAM so it's unnecessary for me. br / br /From Windows 2000, through Vista, MacOSX and Linux Operating Systems, this is a handy store that you can take with you wherever you go. br / br /All in all a welcome addition to my keyfob.
