I bought this laptop this week, fast excellent delievery from amazon. The price was amazing for what this laptop offers, you could buy the same model but with more ram and hd, but who needs it for the extra few hundred pounds you pay. i read reviews on this laptop that were a bit concerning, like the lack of gaming ability. however, so far the laptop has been perfect under every catagory, i can easliy play high ram usage games, windows vista works great and boasts many new features, the screen is beautiful, and crystal clear, the speed is great, and has no issues multi tasking different programs. the look of the laptop is superb, its light, very solid, key board is nice to use, and it just generally looks great. the only issue ive had was with the built in mouse, but that takes getting used to and im used to using a external mouse. the wireless is great, and picks up signal fast easily and from great range, even with unreliable sky broadband. last but not least. it has voice recognition, which i found last nite. i can open all areas of the laptop, just by talking to it. for instance you would say. open internet explorer - adress bar - www. .... its really that easy, precise and very fast. simple incredible! br / br /this is a great product. for 700 you cannot go wrong! its a buy it now situation for anyone, who cant go above 1000. and even so youde be hard pushed to find a better deal. blu ray with rewrter, hd connection, x black screen and vista with the newest processer. br / br /for anyone doubting this and wether to buy or not. it will do everything u want it to do and more! if you need a good, top end laptop for a great price. this is your only choice! BUY NOW! br /

I've been enamoured by Sony Vaio laptops since I first bought one 4 years ago. It never gave me a problem, while my friends' HPs, Dells and Toshibas developed some problem or the other within 3 years. The reason I bought the FZ21M was because I wanted a faster laptop with Vista....no problems with my old Sony Vaio yet. br / br /What striked me immediately on opening the package was its weight sleekness. This has to be amongst the most beautiful laptops in the market, only beaten by the Sony Vaio CR series (I opted for the former as it offered a Blu-Ray as well, is much cheaper). The screen is the best I have seen in a laptop. Watch blu-ray movies it will leave you spellbound! The keyboard is extremely comfortable to use. br / br /This laptop is quite generous in its configuration, with 200 GB HDD (5400 rpm), 2GHz Core 2 Duo processor and 2GB RAM. There is a lot of bloatware pre-loaded which needs uninstalling. Overall, this certainly is one of the best laptops around. A newer model, the FZ31M has arrived, but there is absolutely no difference between this and the 31M (I confirmed this with Sony helpdesk). br / br /I am very impressed with Amazon for their service. There was a problem with my laptop (a manufacturing defect) for which I emailed Amazon. They responded within 30 mins and advised me to contact Sony service. Sony tried to solve my problem, but eventually advised me to return the laptop to Amazon for a replacement. This time, I used the call back facility, sure enough, Amazon called me within few seconds!! Returning the laptop was not a hassle at all. I just had to print a returns label stick it on top of my package, DHL collected it from my house for free! Absolutely seamless. My replacement laptop is perfect. Amazon is the best!! br / br /Just an additional note on the product: The manufacturer's description of the laptop on amazon is misleading. br /1) This laptop has 200GB HDD, and not 120 GB. br /2) The laptop comes with Windows vista Home Premium, and not Vista Business. br /3) It also contains a blu-ray drive to play blu-ray discs (you cannot record on blu-ray discs). This is not mentioned in the description. br / br /Hope it helps. Dear Amazon, please correct the mistakes.

I'm very pleased. It looks great and is amazingly light. I'm getting really good wireless internet, the graphics in games are absolutely lush! br /Plus it plays Blu-Ray, which is a really good bonus for this price. If you play Blu-ray on the laptop the image quality is stunning. The machine performs really well on internet browsing and the magnesium alloy casing looks really cool. It's amazingly light and powerful at the same time. The delivery from Amazon was excellent as well. br / br /Would recommend this for entertainment use - which is what I'm using it for. br / br /

I received this laptop a couple of days ago and am very please with it. Very quick, good design and easy to use. Only down side is the bloatware that is pre-installed on all Sony's, if I want Norton 360, I'll install it myself (would have been 5 stars without the bloatware).
