After slating Studio 11, (see my review)for it's lack of AVCHD capabilities, I was impressed with the way it handled DV footage. For this reason I bought Studio 12 and the fact you get Boris Graffiti, Montage, Magic bullets, Vitascene and a green screen which all work very well with Standard DV. I have made a few interesting DV shorts, however, I decided to load some AVCHD files that were left over from using Studio 11 and to my surprise Studio 12 did quite a good job in handling them. It is still early days but I think it just might work, I am in the process of making a short High def film, so far so good. Studio 12 is well worth the money for it's DV capabilities, it is much better than Studio 11, add to this better handling of AVCHD and Pinnacle might have got it right.. br /My system is:- br /Core 2 duo 3.0 Ghz CPU br /2 gb Ram br /Win XP Service Pack 2 br /SATA hard drive for operating system. br /SATA hard drive for video footage. br /512 mb Graphics card. br /Gigabyte GA 35 Series MoBo.
