There's going to be a huge shortage of all things In the Night Garden this christmas as it's a lovely show with characters that really capture the imagination of little ones. My daughter is only just one and her face lights up whenever she sees Iggle Piggle. This toy dances, blinks and sings/speaks (not too sure why it has 18m+ age range suggestion as she seems to love it and there are no small parts). When he sings the Iggle Piggle song she gets up and dances every time! By the way, Toys r us currently have them at 29.99 and they have stock as of the beginning of November.

When I bought this toy for my 1 and a half year old I thought it would be something special from the description on the box.I have found it to be mediocre though.My daughter does enjoy it but I still think its a bit over-rated.It takes ages to come up with any sounds and its quite slow in its movements as well.

I recently bought this toy for my one year old and I think hes great, so does my son.He dances and sings and knows when he's missing his blanket. I must admit though I wouldn't pay the retail price for it, I got it last week at Argos on a special offer for 26 - I wouldn't have paid the RRP because it isn't that big, but for 26 hes definitely worth it. Shop around!

This toy is lovely - BUY IT FOR YOUR LITTLE ONE! I have no complaints about the toy at all. My son loves ITNG, so I ordered this toy on Amazon in August 2007 for 34.99. At the time I was told to expect delivery in September 2007, which was fine, as I wanted it for my son for Christmas. br /The toy didn't arrive as expected and I had received no communication from Amazon, so I checked my Amazon account in the first week of October to find out where the toy was. I was disgusted to find that the estimated delivery date had been changed to Feb 2008. If I hadn't checked my account I wouldn't have known about this delay. Furthermore, to add insult to injury, Amazon are still blatantly sellling this toy for the increased price of 39.99 for immeidate dfelivery, (via Hamleys). I feel extremely let down by Amazon and sent them a feedback email explaining this. Amazon have, to date, failed to respond to my comments. I was lucky enough to find this toy in my local Woolworths (for 34.99 and there was no postage to pay). However, I know that many parents are still looking for this Dancing Iggle Piggle toy. I would advise not to pin your hopes on Amazon and look elsewhere - as you can't trust Amazon to let you know if there's been a delay and then how would you explain that to a child on Chrsitmas Day? I'm seriously considering doing my shopping on Play.com from now on!
