Hats off to Amazon Sony March 15, 2008 Mr. L. A. Bowden (brixham devon) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
I ordered this TV at 0830 yesterday and it arrived 24 hours later at 0830 this morning. By 0845 I had unpacked it, pluged it in and was watching BBC news24. Hats off to 1. Amazon for 1st. class customer service. And 2. to Sony for a 1st.class TV

Bought this tv for my son's bedroom, 1st one arrived with the pedestal broken, a small panel missing on the rear and a slight rattle sound, like a screw rolling around the inside, contacted Amazon who were 1st class, delivered another and picked up the first one, this tv is a gem great picture and even the sound is pretty decent, you can get cheaper but i think this is well worth the extra money.

Expensive but worth it January 8, 2008 J. M. Nicholls (Chesterfield, England) 37 out of 37 found this review helpful
For a bedroom this TV is ideal. Great picture quality, good sound variations including a decent virtual surround and perfect for HD gaming. br / br /Digital freeview added is very useful and it tunes all channels automatically. br / br /I find the contrast from very bright to deep black is fantastic with all shades noticeable. br / br /Probably too small for a living room tv but great closer up. br / br /Also quick delivery from Amazon as others have quoted already
Sony KDL-20S3000... You pay for what you get... December 22, 2007 Neil Fawcett (Marlow, UK) 27 out of 28 found this review helpful
After looking at cheaper LCD TVs for sometime, I settled on the Sony. Yes, it's somewhat more expensive than many/most of it rivals, but I believe (in this case) you get what you pay for! br / br /In my case the Sony not only delivers me my Digital TV, but also Sky (via a Digisender, scart) and DVD (via HDMI). Now this is an example of where 'you get what you pay for'. In each case the picture tone/brightness was different as was the volume. No problem! The Sony allows per input picture settings, and volume control over each input as well. br / br /As for the picture, pretty good! Certainly about as good as you're going to get for a TV in this price range/size. br / br /Viewing angle is pretty good, but slight changes can be detected as the angle to the screen changes. Nothing particularly bad though. br / br / br /A great set (I have the grey 3020), and delivery of it on the standard free service took only from Tue night to Friday morning...
