 WM16 - Pretty damn good March 25, 2006

Although there have been better Wrestlemania's before and after, WM16 is pretty good. For the first time ever it was a fatal four way match for the WWF title, the only reason this match existed was to get all four McMahon's into the main event. That was not the best part of the event. The best match is clearly the Triangle Ladder Match between the Hardyz, Dudleyz and Edge and Christian, an innovative concept which paved the way for the TLC matches of future years. Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho vs Kurt Angle is one of my favourite matches because it has the three of my favourite and the best wrestlers on the planet in it. I also enjoyed the hardcore battle royal, but for merely amusement purposes. I am giving this four stars based on the three matches alone. Some other matches (Head Cheese vs TA and Boss Man and Bull Buchanan vs D'Lo Brown Godfather) we could have done without, but you can't have everything I guess

This Wrestlemania had it all !!pSuch contrasting styles, we had high flying matches with tables and ladders, then we have technically brilliant matches with good old fashioned wrestling moves. It had blood, sweat, tears, joy, betrayal, celbs and hoes !!!pHighs - Ladder match - at the time, was probably one of the best matches i had seen, all 6 men put their bodies on the line and it was crazypFatal 4 way - a brilliant match, great actino in and out of the ring, then the betrayal and the retribution at the end. Foleys retirement match (so it was said) and it didnt dissapointp2 out of 3 falls - great match with 3 of the best technical wrestlers in the businesspHardcore battle royal - absolute carnage !!pThe only real low point for me was the T A vs Blackman/Snow match. Not a wrestlemania quality match, but time needed to be filled i supposep10/10, a must buy

this wrestlemania is one of the best ones I own, I own every wrestlemania on video from 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19 and 20 and wrestlemania 16 reaches my top 5, it fetures, a triangle ladder match for the tag team titles, a 2 fall trple threat match for the ic and european championships, cat fight, a 15 minute 13 man hardcore battleroyal for the hardcore title and a fatle 4 way elimnation match for the world wrestling fedoration championship and some tag team matches, matches all together - 9
