I have had this video for 15 years and have never looked at another since.... I bought the video when I was eighteen years old and after the first time I ached so bad I put it back into the cupboard and there it stayed until after my first child was born 3 years later, I decided to give it another go and like the first time I ached so bad that I could barely walk down the stairs, but I didnt give up, I did it twice a week for 2 months and I am not exaggerating when I say that the results were amazing, My body was far leaner and more toned than it had ever been before having children, back then I was always a size 12 but now I am a size 10. I have since had two more children and the video has not only helped me during pregnancy but has also put me straight back into shape afterwards. I love this video, dated it may be but it works and thats all that matters.....

If you want to be toned this is the video for you. I have a wide range of exercise videos and although I use them frequently I only bother doing callenetics if it's toning I'm after. Although it will not get your heart going or make you out of breath you will feel you really accomplished something and your muscles will feel wonderful. You will start to see the results almost immediately as long as you do it on a regular basis. Be warned, this is not the most exciting of videos and the whole leotard thing can get quite annoying. I recommend that once you've done it a few times and know the ropes to put your favourite music on in the background to liven things up. However it is worth it for the results.brBuy this now, you won't regret it!

persevere with this one! I found the results really quick and nothing else (including step classes six days a week!) have been as effective as this in a short space of time. It feels a bit worrying to start with because like any exercise regime you want to feel you get maximum benefit for your effort and its hard to know if you are doing it exactly right, but I dropped a dress in a month. I am more a fan of jumping about and really feeling like I'm exercising so this does seem very boring by comparison but the results can't be argued with.

I was given the book Callanetics For Your Back a few months ago. I then searched for the Beinnining Callanetics video and after doing the exercises daily for a month, I progressed to the Original Callanetics. Now I've just ordered Super Callanetics. My back used to be in such agony. Now I'm pain free, have better muscular movement, am toned and the icing on the cake is that these exercises are pain free, gentle and relaxing. Do be aware that these exercises have to be done daily, they will have minimal effect if only done once or twice a week. You will notice the effects within a week.
