5 out of 5 stars Excellent Piece   August 17, 2008
S. Naguleswaran (UK)
Provides excellent internet security, free updates, user friendly and more and more features... Easy to install even though it takes some more time than the previous product. But it covers more area and therefore it overcomes that deficit. It gives maximum security and I highly recommend this product. I actually purchased the version 1 nearly 7 months back but recently it has been upgraded free to version 2 by Norton! ...Great news!!

5 out of 5 stars One of the Best   August 15, 2008

This is an excellent package. It works well and covers everything that you need for peace of mind and protection. I like the backup facility, which doesn't take long as once its done the first backup only backs up changes from then on. Checking what 360 has done while your not at your computer is ease and lets you manualy do things if you want.

5 out of 5 stars worked 1st time - every time!   April 6, 2008

I have read many of the reviews and this was AFTER I had purchased it - probably a mistake. Actually it wasn't as I had installed this software on 3 computers without any problems at all. 1 x vista laptop and 2 x PC with XP. I can't relate to ANY of the problems and I am not an IT specialist at all. I had software before that was making the laptop run horrendously slow, I deleted it and added 360 and it's running better than ever. br /The PCs were a breeze to sort out. Yes updates were required and over a few days these downloaded without incident, only taking a few minutes at a time. br /Now all three computers are running well and secure - that's all I asked of the software. br /I'm very happy with the product and for 3 x computer licences its brilliant value!

3 out of 5 stars Important to use Norton Removal Tool before installation   March 25, 2008
TopGun (Wirral UK)
I tried several times to upgrade my NIS 2007 to Norton 360 (Upgrade) using the disc, however it kept on failing to install-and it gave rather obscure error messages. Searching web forums for fixes for the error messages took ages and were in vain! I don't like ringing customer support on premium charged lines. In the past I have generally had installation problems with Norton products but have manged to overcome them eventually with workarounds but this was one mother of a stubborn problem that wouldn't fix! br /However I noticed another reviewer suggesting using the Norton Removal Tool, which apparently removes all old traces of Norton products from your PC. It was easy to find from the Norton website after a websearch, having downloaded and installed it. It must have done the trick as soon after my final attempt at installing Norton 360 went without hitch. br /Although 360 as well as its other products come with 'old' program removal tools that activate during the installation, I suspect they don't do a particularly good job, and cause havoc with 'new' installations, its probably a Windows Registy problem but i'm no expert! br /So just in case you are having the same problems as I have had, before returning your product for a refund (which I was about to do) may a suggest stop pulling your hair and try the Norton Removal Tool, it worked for me!!
