Shaz August 10, 2007 Shaz i am currently learning to drive, and i found this cd realli useful, an excellent, Comprehensive and enjoyable way to learn.. It teaches you in various ways, so dat u can remeber, understand and reflect on what you have learnt. it manages to drill certain sequences into your head such as the (M.S.M, P.S.L Routines) and also the various cockpit checks when first entering the car. example what actions to take whilst sitting in the car with great details of changing gears. It also contains many theory aspects, and quizzes you on various road signs. which helps you to remeber.. I wud recommend this to people with patients and enjoy playin computer games lol.. as there is some points in this cd you can get irritated when having difficulties in passin certain procedures.. da cd is useful for beginners and people who are learning to drive, a good value on money as well... i hope dis has helped...
More Good Points Than Bad Points March 20, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This software has various good points and bad points. Firstly, it manages to drill certain sequences into your head (MSM, PSL) and also the various cockpit checks when first entering the car. It also contains many theory aspects, and quizzes you on various road signs etc. There are instructional videos also included which are useful. The downside is that the interface is rather irritating. Controlling the virtual car is pretty difficult and you can regularly make mistakes which will be penalised by starting at the beginning of the level again. Also, after a while the sequences become rather irritating (for example raising the clutch to the biting point is controlled by the click of an icon, this doesn#x27;t seem to aid your clutch control) and the constant demand for perfection. I believe that this software is worth buying as it helps you remember when to perform certain sequences of checks. It is worth buying for practise inbetween driving lessons, and would definately help in the speed of passing your test.
Fun way to learn to drive. January 30, 2006 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
A fun and useful way to develop your skills for learning to drive both for beginners, and for people who have already had some lessons.pWhilst it cannot be like driving a real car on real roads, it does however, teach you things like when and in which direction you should steer when, for example, turning in the road. It will also help you get into good habits for looking in mirrors and checking blind spots.pIt also brings to life concepts like stopping and seperation distances.pLook out for the suicidal pedestrians that get you do an emergency stop!! (They step out and then stand facing you in the middle of the road!!)pThis CD-ROM is very comprehensive, fun and, at roughly half the cost of a 1 hour driving lesson, is superb value for money.
