3 out of 5 stars Not bad, not great   November 20, 2007

I was slightly underwhelmed by the performance of this piece of kit considering its price. I've tried quite a few cheaper external soundcards already and they mostly perform better than this one. The signal recorded is not particular clean - not terrible but not as good as some cheaper soundcards. I experienced some latency problems - not severe, but again, cheaper soundcards from other manufacturers performed better in this area too. br / br /On the positive side, this is a relatively cost effective way to record an instrument (guitar perhaps) and vocals at the same time. To be fair, it does what it says on the tin, just not quite as well as I had hoped.
