Wacom Intuos3 A5 Tablet Pen and Mouse USB Mac/Win May 28, 2008 jamrev 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have used my old Wacom Graphire A6 tablet for many years now and found it OK but a bit on the small size. br /The larger Wacom Intuos3 A5 Tablet Pen and Mouse USB is the perfect size and the no battery mouse and stylus are excellent. The scroll/zoom sliders are very useful and suite left and right handed users. br /I echo the praise regarding the functionality and sturdy design in the other reviews. br /I would just like to mention that the Ultra Smooth surface of the tablet has helped reduced the sensitivity in my palms, and this is a bonus I didn't expect when I bought this beautifully designed equipment. br /The price put me off buying it sooner which I now regret as you will find it worth every penny and wonder how you worked without it.. br /The Vista installation is easy and trouble free br /What are the cons of the WACOM Intuos III A5 Graphic Tablet - well I can't find any br /
Great upgrade from Graphire....but terrible mouse April 24, 2008 Mr. A. Barroso Gonzalez 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Got this after two Wacom Graphire (they werent very good, both were sent back to amazon due to pen issues)broken tablets, as an upgrade, is excellent, you can even FEEL what the money was spent onto. I will recommend this to Photoshop professionals only. If you want to try this and do ocasional retouches on ps, go for the bamboo. br /Only a bad point, the mouse is just terrible, I thought I will able to replace my wireless logitech (g7) for the one that comes with the tablet, but the logitech is 10 times better in all levels.

I have just received this incredible device as I thought it might be easier to use than a mouse with Corel Paint Shop Photo X2, and WOW. This device is incredible I never realised how much easier everything could be. The Wacom installed without a hitch and 'just worked' what a change that makes. I have Vista and suddenly features on Vista came alive like the Journal which you can just write on like paper. br / br /It may be expensive at 200 but worth every penny for the quality and feel this device offers. If you do anything with graphics no matter how minor get one and enjoy the experiance.
Excellent piece of kit. January 7, 2008 KJJ (South Wales, UK.) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got one of these for Christmas after some heavy hinting and I have to say that I'm delighted with with it. I use it primarily for photo editing and it has a much more natural feel compared to a mouse. It really does make selecting parts of an image easier. The pressure sensitivity does take a bit of getting used to but after just 2 weeks I wouldn't be without it. br / br /I toyed with the idea of getting an A4 sized version but now I'm glad that I didn't. The A5 size is spot on, any bigger and the tablet wouldn't have fitted on my desk.
