Great fun, actually flies! June 28, 2008 gag-halfrunt (Sheffield, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Got this as I've been through a couple of PicooZ-type heli-things, and then graduated to a 4-channel co-axial. So, this interested me, just to see it would actually fly. And it does, although you need a fair bit of space to use it indoors, and something this light will not cope with even a tiny breeze outside, so don't even bother trying. May have to take it in to work, in order to have a bit more room, but managed some circuits in a large room at home. br / br /The looks of it, combined with the shrieking noise it makes when flying, make it ... well, not quite a 'bat out of hell', but certainly something different, and a little insane too, which I like! br / br /Also comes with spare wings and small plastic discs, which can be stuck to the wings to balance it: For example, if it constantly turns to the left, you can add weight to the right wing, so it is 'trimmed' to fly straight with no stick input. br / br /One note is that this, as advertised, operates on a radio frequency of 27MHz, which is not actually legal in the UK, where the 35MHz band is allocated for models. Hmmm, better go and turn myself in then ......
