Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
A cheeky, fussy little engine, often getting into scrapes, usually by being over-eager to do things best left to bigger and more sensible engines.

Amazon.co.uk Review
Steam into the fantasy world of Thomas the Tank Engine with this wooden Thomas engine. Small, blue and the number one engine, Thomas the Tank must surely be the most famous and lovable children's engine of all. p This Thomas engine is made from real wood and has a three-dimensional face, with a strong magnet allowing him to be coupled with his friendly carriages Annie and Clarabel or indeed one of those Troublesome Trucks (not included). Over the years (and these Thomas trains will have years of play value) these solid wooden trains will prove to be a great investment as they stand. p Let your child's imagination run wild as they recreate one of the many cheery Thomas adventures. p Thomas will work happily on the Thomas Friends Wooden Railway Sets and all other major brand wooden train sets. Suitable for children aged 2 to 6 years. --IVictoria Mackenzie/I

5 out of 5 stars Stick with Brio   September 3, 2001

I agree with the previous reviewer. These trains are not as well made or as durable as the ones which were made by Brio. I too am on the lookout for the few Thomas characters made by Brio we don't have.
