I purchased this slide for my nephew's birthday and last night, we finally finished putting it together (2 weeks and lots of shouting later). The instructions are amongst the worst I have ever seen and I am sure we aren't the first nor the last people to put the steps on the wrong way round!! br /My nephew is 3 years old, but I would have reservations as to its durability for an 8 or 9 year old to play on it. br /Once put together, the slide is fine, though the chute is rather flimsy and I agree with the other reviewers about the big bump at the bottom. br /Next time I purchase anything, it will have to come pre-assembled.
