I'd agree with the previous reviewer in all but one thing - that Marvel Comic characters are not educational. I didn't buy them for my five-year-old for any educational purposes, but he loves them and it's really helped his counting, and presumably also his tactical awareness. No longer does he go for the biggest numbers, but the best in the category. And he must be learning because now he keeps beating me. There's a lot of fun to be had between an adult who's just a kid at heart and a kid who's just a kid, and it's a million times better than watching TV. If you ever played Top Trumps and you have a young relative, buy this now and play it with them next time you meet them.

I was told by a friend that these Top Trumps playing cards were extremely rare. But upon visiting my local newsagent, I found a crate full of the things. I paid the 2.99 price and rushed the cards home, to discover that most of my favourite Marvel characters were among them. Spider-Man, Doc Ock, the X-Men and Captain america. They, along with others, are all included in this deck.
These cards are good for playing with when you have a few mates around, but are easily bendable, thanks to the thin material used. These cards do NOT help you enducation wise in any possible way.
All in all, these Top Trumps are a gem in the Top Trumps series.
