Pangea powercables - AC-9, AC-9SE, AC-14SE

**SOLD** **SOLD** **SOLD**

Looking to move to some other powercables so time to sell these off. I have the box for the AC-14SE, but dont think I have one for the AC-9's. If I do they will be included.

For sale is a Pangea AC-9SE 1.5m, Pangea AC-9 2m, and a Pangea AC-14SE 1.5m powercable. These are all MKI not MKII versions.

I am looking for 260 + shipping for all three of these. Thats a fairly reasonable price IMHO. If your interested in a specific one of the three, PM me an offer and we will see what we can work out, but I'd honestly prefer to sell all three at once.

Pangea AC-9SE 1.5m

Tighter Bass, Better Image Focus, and Other Benefits
The Pangea Audio AC-9SE Signature Edition power cable is an enhancement of Pangea's wildly popular AC-9 power cable. This 7-awg design with its advanced combination of Litz, PCOCC, and other conductors offers a substantial upgrade compared to the already excellent AC-9. The sonic benefits of the Signature Edition include tighter bass and better image focus.

Because of their high-current requirements, power amps benefit from heavier gauge conductors than normal power cords offer. The AC9-SE is specially designed to deliver the clean, high-current power needed by audio amplifiers – including stereo, mono, multichannel, and integrated amps. It is also ideal for powered subwoofers, power conditioners, and other high-current electronic components.

OFC, Long-Crystal Copper, and PCOCC Copper Conductors
The AC-9SE uses different wire gauges consisting of a combination of OFC, Long-Crystal Copper, Litz, and audiophile-grade single-crystal PCOCC (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) from Japan. PCOCC (99.99999% pure) Ohno-cast copper conductors are typically ten-times more expensive than standard copper conductors.

Counter-spiraled conductors offer superior noise rejection, and the triple-shielded design provides high-current noise isolation. The large-diameter 7-awg construction boasts seven-way multi-gauge geometry optimized for high-current delivery of 50/60 Hz AC power. The 24K gold-plated contacts provide superior electrical contact.

Pangea Audio Power Cables
Pangea Audio power cables offer the perfect balance of power, shielding, and flexibility for audiophile components. These cables have been designed, not from the AC wall outlet to the component, but the other way around – from the component to the wall outlet. The result is a cable that not only fully satisfies the 'real power requirements' of audiophile components, but which also delivers improved performance for both power and component isolation.

Pangea Audio's 'component to the wall outlet' design results in a better cable that's designed just for the component you want to power. The cable gives you precisely what you need - no more and definitely no less.

Pangea AC-9 2m

Specifically Designed for High-Current Components
In spite of its name, Pangea Audio's AC-9 high-current power cord isn't a nine-gauge cable. It's actually a seven-gauge cable, which means it's even heftier than the nine-gauge! (The lower the gauge, the thicker the cable.) This explains why our customers have been so wildly enthusiastic about the sound of AC-9. This difference is especially noticeable in the bass, where the AC-9 outperforms every cable we're heard under $200, and most cables under $500.

The AC-9 has been designed specifically to deliver the high current needed by mono, stereo, and integrated power amplifiers. It's also ideal for powered subwoofers and makes a great choice for use with high-current-demanding line conditioners. Its combination of superior materials, advanced geometry, and noise-fighting shielding enhances the performance of connected components.

Because of their high-current requirements, power amps benefit from heavier gauge conductors than normal power cords offer. Although the AC-9 uses large-diameter conductors, it requires less shielding than power cables that are designed for use with source components. Therefore, the AC-9 offers greater flexibility than other heavy-duty power cables. That makes it kinder to your gear and easier to work with.

"You Don’t Always Have to Pay a Lot to Get a Lot"
"The AC-9 is a perfect example of the adage that you don’t always have to pay a lot to get a lot, notes Sean Fowler in his April 13, 2010 review for SonicFlare.com. "As I listen to the AC-9, I struggle to think of a time when I heard any other affordable power cord deliver such a natural presentation without committing some kind of damning caveat."

Superior Noise Rejection
The AC-9 boasts 99.99% purity OFC copper conductors for maximum conductivity. Its 7-awg construction facilitates high-current power delivery, while its five-way multi-gauge geometry optimizes 50/60 Hz AC power.

Counter-spiraled conductors offer superior noise rejection. Double-shielded provides high-current noise isolation. Special two-shot molded connector bodies protect vital AC connections for maximum current delivery and long life, while 24k gold-plated contacts provide superior electrical contact.

When More Is Sometimes Actually Less
Until now, all upgrade power cables have been designed according to a 'more is better' philosophy, leading manufacturers to increase the diameter of the conductor and the thickness of the insulation in an attempt to improve performance, but at the expense of flexibility. The resulting thick, noncompliant cables put a severe strain on the chassis of connected components.

Heavy, inflexible cables can also reduce the effectiveness of component isolation and suspension systems. Because power amps do benefit from heavier gauge conductors, the AC-9 is thicker than its smaller sibling, the AC-14. However, it is only as thick as it needs to be for maximum performance, and it is still more flexible than competitive cords.

Pangea AC-14SE

The Power Cable for Better Transient Response and Lower Noise
Enhance the performance of source components, including preamps, CD players, tuners, and more. The Pangea Audio AC-14SE Signature Edition power cable brings the benefits of better transient response and a lower noise floor.

The AC-14SE is a 14-AWG cable that uses three different wire gauges consisting of a combination of solid and Litz conductors. The large-gauge center conductor is made of solid PCOCC copper. Surrounding this conductor are six cores consisting of one medium-gauge solid OFC copper conductor, which in turn is surrounded by six Litz conductors.

The net effect of Jay Victor's patented design is that every conductor is individually insulated. The braided shield is made of silver-plated copper for lower noise.

"The Improvement Is Not Subtle"
In his June 2014 review of the NAD D 3020 hybrid integrated amplifier for Audioxpress.com, Gary Galo notes, "In a high-end application, the amplifier can benefit from a heftier, shielded power cord. I used a Pangea AC-14SE cord. On my system, the improvement in detail, resolution, and spaciousness is not subtle. Since the D 3020 is fitted with a C5 power connection, you'll need an adapter… I recommend Pangea's IEC-C5."

Specifically Designed for Source Components
Pangea Audio's AC-14SE Signature Edition power cable is specifically designed for source components, which do not require the same large amounts of current as receivers and amps. The AC-14SE provides more than enough current while offering multiple shielding and other features that facilitate extremely clean and noise-free power.

Pangea designed the AC-14SE specifically for wide-band delivery of power to line-level AV components. It will enhance the performance of preamps, CD players, DVD players, DACs, and other line-level components.

Superior flexibility means easier installation, and the lightweight design doesn't impede the effectiveness of isolation devices. The AC-14SE's 24k gold-plated contacts offer superior electrical contact. Special two-shot molded connector bodies protect vital AC connections for maximum current delivery and long life.

The resulting thick, noncompliant cables put a severe strain on the chassis of connected components.

Heavy, inflexible cables can also reduce the effectiveness of component isolation and suspension systems. This is a particular problem for sensitive source components (such as preamps, CD players, phono preamps, tuners, and DACs) that are typically placed on lighter suspension systems. Therefore, the AC-14SE has been engineered for flexibility and to put less strain on your gear, including isolation accessories.
