Actually I wouldn't sweat over 0.2 mm. The 1.3 mm tip should work just fine with C&S™ Ultra since there is nothing large enough in the paint to cause any blockages. Be sure to filter your mix before spraying to get any clumps of paint out of it. Also be SURE the mix is stirred well; the Liquitex BASICS Silver paint doesn't want to go into solution unless it is mechanically mixed very well.

Re: Spraying Cream & Sugar

Thanks for the info guys.

I spent quiet a lot of time testing with scrap drywall and paint samples I had around the house. In my situation it seemed like I had to thin the paint a little too much to get a decent flow with the 1.3 mm.

In addition I did not like the way my compressor was kicking in and out on material that was smaller than my screen. I should have borrowed my friend’s larger compressor when I borrowed his HVLP gun but now he is on vacation….

So to meet my goal of finishing my screen this weekend I went back to my original plan and bought a Wagner Control Spray. It seems like it will do what i need for my small home projects. My tests so far have turned out nice and smooth.

Will keep you posted (probably reply back on my original Epson 8350 thread. I also have to update the light readings since I got my bulb replacement)

cheers
