The member PM'ed this question to me and I said to use J, but the more I think about it I believe H might be more appropriate after all. I now forget at what point adding AAA-F to a base paint makes the mix lighter rather than darker.

Re: Help with the Black Widow PFG DIY Projection Screen

I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but I happened to find it while looking for why my paint color turned out wrong. I was trying to make the BW paint according to this thread: http://www.hometheatershack.com/foru...ack-widow.html
But after reading through everything, it seems I added the new AAA to Bermuda Beige, and so basically just got a slightly darker beige after adding. I see that you've recommended a different paint for the new stuff, but is there a way to salvage the paint I already have? I'd rather not have to buy everything again, but I understand if it's not fixable. Thanks!

Unfortunately there is no way to fix it.
I figured that might be the case. It's ok though, my wife apparently likes the color and wants to use it for the guest bedroom. At least it won't go to waste! Thanks for your help, I'm doing a little bit more research on this site this time!

Re: Help with the Black Widow PFG DIY Projection Screen

Hi. I wanted to try out to paint my screen with AutoAir 4101 and a grey tone.
I tested it with RAL 7038 and the white seems to drift to a yellow or green touch - it's not natural anymore.

This is RAL 7038:

Would RAL 9006 make a better difference, since it's more grey?

Or 7047?

I mixed 400ml color with 100ml AutoAir 4101.
