My interest in this shoot out is in the two Glidden paints.

Greetings to all! I read with interest this thread evaluating paints for home theater: great idea! Especially since I'm planning to paint my dedicated room soon. After some research, I had decided to go with a Roscoe acrylic paint called velour black. There are some issues however. It has to be diluted with water, and it's apparently somewhat difficult to apply, yet those who have managed to work around these issues have gotten great results. It's a professional product, used in commercial theaters. Might this product be included in your evaluation?

Nak is evaluating screen paint options. I'll edit the title of this thread to reflect this. I can see how it could be a bit confusing.
Oops! My apologies

Not sure how far along this adventure is, how about another paint option? Sherman Williams: ProClassic Smooth Enamel Satin Finish

I for sure want to see the results when posted. I'm also planning a diy screen and will be choosing paints.

It's a shame this seems to have fallen through.

It really is. I was looking forward to this.

Now that summer is around, I am looking to replace my spandex screen with another painted screen.

What is the screen paint of choice these days?
