I prefer the external grade of wood glue - dries harder and sands down easier in my experience. Also when glueing - use 3 to 4 clamps on every side, use scrap so you dont damage work area. Not sure on other preferences but I don't see the need for screws - the glue does the trick fine. Screws just make finishing harder. Just my opinion...

There's a need for screws if you don't have clamps, I assumed that was the case.

Looks great so far. Planning is always the hardest part of any project.

I'm in the process of building a sub pretty close to yours. My only difference is that I designed the port to bend out the same side as the driver.
