Probably not. Build the sub and see how it sounds first.

Re: [help] sub driver recommend

you can add filling at any time. Once you have built your sub and listened to it, if you decide you would like it to sound deeper, then you add in the filling to slightly alter how deep the design sounds. You would use polyester fibre fill, not cotton, so keep that in mind.

I personally dont bother with foam, and never would. However, I mainly build sealed subs where the foam only really serves to reduce cabinet volume. IMO it not really a requirement for ported subs either, but it will help reduce any resonance sound or motor noise from the rear of the driver through the port, if you consider that a possible issue. Again, if you add poly fibre fill, this will help with this anyway and personally I would only use foam on a ported design with no filling. There are those that do like to use it though, and if you want to it wont do any harm.

Re: [help] sub driver recommend

Hello everyone, recently, I completed my sub.
but I have question about passtive radiator.
If I add more than 550gram of mass to each PR, Can I get the tuned frquency of below 21HZ?

With the increase of the mass weight, the tuned frequency will be lower? that's right?

Yes, increasing the weight added on each PR will lower the tuning frequency.

Yes it has a limit. Did you buy the Exodus Audio PR's?

Re: [help] sub driver recommend

Exodus Audio no longer has them on their website. Do you have the parameters for them?
