Question IXL 18.2.2 speaker terminals confusion

Well I got my IXL 18.2.2 but I'm unsure of the speaker terminals. It looks like it would unscrew but it doesn't I look in and I see something like a spring coil (just one bit though). Any ideas on this?

I thought IXLs have spring loaded connectors whereby you press down on them to reveal a speaker wire insertion hole and then release to collapse back down on the wire. Have you tried pressing down on the terminals to see if they have play?

Does it look like you can press down on it - and it creates an opening for the wire?

Many terminals have a spring... and when you compress it, you can stick the wire in, and then the spring expands to hold it snug.

Trying to find a good picture example...
