Surprisingly flat frequency response

Had a couple old JL Audio 10W3 D2s laying around so looked up the specs and modeled them for curiosity's sake and it might have the flattest frequency response I've seen so far.

Like LITERALLY flat down to 27hz! lol

Re: Surprisingly flat frequency response

A few drivers model pretty flat to quite high frequencies, and at least you know a pair of them could be used to pretty high frequencies if you wanted.

Re: Surprisingly flat frequency response

This is a prototype (I can't say which ) that models flat to 16 hz at 118 db. I hope it sees production!

Which I guess it's still pretty good for a sub made in the early/mid 90s...

Can you say what size driver and what size/type enclosure it takes to get that performance? I wont even ask for price if it's prototype.

OP probably didn't have the inductance to enter; hence, great high MODELED high frequency response.

You are not very subtle for those that actually look closely at the graph!
