Post Trying to gather ideas for crossovers & boxes for compact/small L-R-S,C build

I searched hi & low for subs smaller then 8" that can hit low.Haven't had much luck.I want to use one of these for the subs.
Lanzar MAXP64 6.5" 600W sub
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Lanzar-M...item2c65b74f37
JL AUDIO 6W3v3-8 8 OHM 6.5" 300W sub
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-JL-AUDIO...item4ab9e79e18
The lanzer is much cheaper & is rated higher wattage. But I like the JL much more & believe the bass is probably superior compared to the lanzer.

Idk what all to get for this build.I will be getting a external soundcard for my laptop. All it will be used for.If I ever get a 360/ps3,will use it for that too.To sum up my L&R build.I want fully full range each speaker dedicated to each range. The subs, low of course. Now for the next, mid range. Please don't laugh, but I will be using 6x9s.1 of these 2 sets.
NAXA NX-769 6x9" 1000 Watt 6-Way
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-NEW-NAXA-N...item51a08b20ce
PYLE PLG69.8 6 x 9 500 WATT 8 WAY
http://www.audiosavings.com/products...S/PLG69.8.aspx
Either one,I like. Now for the dedicated high.I want to use 1 horn for each box.I need help finding one that is true high but, don't cost alot($300+).I heard at least 20,000 or higher is key for highs.

I can't decide weither to have the subs in same box with my 6x9s & horns, make a separate box for each sub,or pair the subs in one box.I'm leaning towards having them in the same box with the 6x9s & horns.

For center channel:
2 Tang Band W3-1876S 3"
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=264-909
2 Dayton Audio RS52AN-8 2" Dome Midrange
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=285-020
1 Beston RT002A Ribbon Tweeter
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=277-112
That center build i'd be very happy with .I have no idea what crossover would be optimal for my center & my L-R-Ss.I would like some help on that & the box design. Thanks for reading. Please don't suggest other subs or speakers....please.I am having trouble finding horns, parts express has a few.But most are higher priced.

Oh boy. Not sure where to begin here.

Let's focus on your sub project... So you would like to build a small sub using the JL 6W3v3 for indoor/home use? Just one or multiple drivers, and what amp would you be using?

Yes.2 JL 6W3v3.I'm not quite sure yet.I can't decide whether to get a home/dj amp or rig a car amp for home use.I can get just about any power supply hugely discounted.
Here is what i'd like to do.

2 Beston RT002A Ribbon Tweeters for each box, instead of 1 horn.So 4 drivers total for each L & R box.Maybe I should make a separate chamber for the JL in the box.I think JL recommended this sub to be sealed, not ported.
Here is how I'd like my center.

I'm confused how many CH I need.Is this right?Ch0-L,ch1-R,ch2-Subwoofer,ch3-Center.So 3.1 ch?
I been looking around for a decent sound card, here is what i'm interested in.

Okay, I would STRONGLY advise against using the car audio speakers. Results are sure to be mediocre at best. If you would like to DIY yourself some fullrange speakers, it's best to start with an already proven design. Such as the TriTrix kit at PartsExpress http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=300-702 you are gauranteed great results that way, you can build a third in a smaller sealed box for your center channel.

It looks like the 6W3v3 will do nicely in a EBS alignment, one will get an f3 of 24Hz in .5cuft tuned to 25.5Hz with a 3" port. That's pretty impressive for a tiny sub. It will only handle about 80W though, and needs an HPF to protect from over excursion. You could do four drivers in 2cuft tuned to 26.5Hz (3x 3" or 1x 5" ports), and use a Dayton SPA250 plate amp. That'd be perfect since it has a built-in HPF. I don't know how cost effective it will be to go with four JL drivers though, you might be better off going with something else unless you really want the uniqueness factor.

Re: Trying to gather ideas for crossovers & boxes for compact/small L-R-S,C build

Ok.I was trying to make it somewhat portable, easy to pack & move. After thinking long & hard I decided to just work on building a sub for now.One that will always stay at my house. Here is what I came up with.
RE AUDIO SX18D4 18"
http://www.audiosavings.com/products...lt/SX18D4.aspx
Kenwood Kac-8105d Mono 1000 Watt Class D Amp
http://surefireshops.com/p/47491/Ken...3GWBU2699.html
I'm unsure what V & amp rating will be best for the kenwood.I really hope that amp is good for the RE.
If my calculation is correct, the amp sub needs 83.3a & 12V.That's if I crank it to the max.Am I way off?
