Not by much, 4.5 cu.ft. is a Q of .7. 4 cu.ft. is a Q of .73.

Re: what type of speaker

I was just looking at the wiring possibilities. Since they are D2 ohm drivers the wiring options are 1.34 ohm, 3 ohm, or a 12 ohm load. An amp that can supply 1500 watts or more at 2 ohms should work for a 3 ohm load from the drivers.

you're probably better off designing the sub with horizontal brace rather than vertical brace like that. the 3 large panel without any bracing have a possibility they'll vibrate with low frequency. if it were me, i'd put at least 2 vertical brace to support all the panels simultaneously.

it'd be far easier to cut them even.
I agree with the bracing concern. I think that it does need some horizontal bracing.

Re: what type of speaker

The graph goes down to 10 hz but how loud it will be will depend on how much room gain you get.

Re: what type of speaker

Gosh I remember that design. The bracing on that is fine. The drivers located where they are will probably cancel out any vibrations any way.

It will be good to see that come to life as it took ages to design and work out.

Watching this!!!!
