Question 18" passive radiator choices.

Question. What are the choices that I have with passive radiators and a tc sounds lms ultra 5400? I would like to use 2 but the price

for tc sounds passive radiators are very expensive. I was looking at psi car audio and the usable xmax is 3.5 in. Would 2 be close to

over excursion if used this way. I was planing on sealed at first but am looking at options. I would like to use the box as a tv stand

and for good frontal impact. Well thats the idea but I am no sound engineer. Mahalo.

I looked at pr for my ultras and decided on Acoustic Elegance's. They will make them weighted to your specs also. I went with a different alignment in the end though.

Its too late now as the psi 18 inch passives are sitting in the room waiting for a home thats of stature for the incorporated components. What fork in the road did you take dougc? Just curious?

I built each driver a Gjallarhorn that I installed in the attic above my media room. The output is massive for two drivers in a large, open room. I'm not quite finished with the room yet, so I'm not sure how flat I will be able to get them.
