SI 18 Passive Radiator

Hello everybody, I am curious about passive radiators and would love to try a build sometime. I modeled a SI 18 with two PSI passives in 10 CUFT feet. My question is the PSI site lists two values for xmax, 65 mm and 32 mm total, which one should I use to model? I have attached a WinISD file using the 32 mm value. All comments are welcome. Thanks.

The PR's are 32 mm one way, your project requires two PR's with 1160 grams of mass added to each PR for a 18 hz tuning frequency.

We're all in this together!

Re: SI 18 Passive Radiator

I have received 2 18" psi passives and I am happy with the build quality. Very nice quality for the price. I will use them with my tc 5400 18". Good luck with your build!

No mass disks include with the purchase. Swing by your local hardware store and pick some up. I don't have my digital calipers to measure but it looks to be 8x1.25 threaded rod that was used.

Re: SI 18 Passive Radiator

Any luck with the mass disks? I went to my local hardware store and struck out on the washers. I had bought a bunch of 1-1/2 fender washers with a 5/16 hole and weighed 25 of them. It only came out to 300 grams. I'm looking into 2" round bar stock to make this work. what did you use to get your weight taken cared of? I need 1700 grams per passive radiator.
