Question Are Inifinity Primus P362 Speakers okay for home theater?

I found a pair of them on craigslist for about $175 - $200. Are they okay for HT? Is this a good deal?

Would you ever buy something of off CL without hearing them first? If I do get to hear, what do I do to test them? Just turn them up loud?

Sorry for so many questions. Thanks for any help.

They are an excellent speaker. price seems a little steep though.

On a good sale at Fry's, you can get a pair of 363's about $200 new; so the price is a bit high. Good speakers though.

I have not had an opportunity to listen to them but by most accounts they are a pretty good speaker for a really good price. I would not recommend buying them used, as Jerry points out, they are often on sale for $99 ea. or $199 pr.
As for auditioning them just listen to music you are familiar with at a volume you would normally listen at.

I have listened to them, they are ok at $200/pair (new from Frys) if no Frys in your area I have no idea what the going price is.
