That's where the XPA-3 comes into play...

Not trying to put a downer on the Marantz SR5007 but to believe that it will actually output 100wats per channel even into two channels is a bit over stated. The receiver only weighs 22lbs so it does not have a very large power supply. I would think realistically it will do about 85wats per channel and even less if driving all 7 channels. That said the speakers you have are quite efficient so it should do just fine as long as your not rocking out your system.
Well I do like to listen to it loud. By "rocking out to my system" you mean listening to it loud, your saying that it may be under powered? I'm running a 5.1 system. I've got dm7's dm302's and I'm picking up a a cc6 (all b&w). Honesty it will be for 90% home theater use.

Am I making a poor decision here? I understand that I can buy it for 700, but having to buy a 200 watt amp for 600-800 amp because the receiver can't handle it will make me quite disappointed. I'd hate to be so close and only spend maybe 200 dollars more to get the power I need.

Re: My dilemma. Need advise bad im going insane.

There's a guy on canuckaudiomart.com selling two Emotiva UPA-2 amps - $300 for one, $500 for both.

An SR5007 for your mains and CC is $800, taxes in. Add a UPA-2 for your surrounds and you're at $1,100.

If you can find an AVR that can beat that combination of features and power for $1,100, buy it.

-- Edit --
Not that you need 200W/ch., but you won't find any AVR - or combination of AVR + power amp - that will do 200W/ch., all channels driven, for anywhere near that kind of money.

IMO, and YMMV.

Thanks for the info. One more thing. How much watts per channel for the sr5007 running my two fronts and one centre. Fronts max out at 200 center at 120 and the rears max out at 100.

And to be honest what I really wanted was to buy an XPA-5 (200 w x 5) and get a decent receiver with 3d 4k with hdmi and audessy thingy with the microphone

Re: My dilemma. Need advise bad im going insane.

You should inquire with this guy. I've never bought a receiver from him but did email and ask if he (they)was a authorized Denon\Marantz reseller and he said yes. You may want to ask Denon also just to be on the safe side. I did order some cables and a small set of outdoor speaker from that store and had no problems at all.

They have a 5007 for $600 and several other Denon/Marantz

cheers

Thanks for your recommendation. I am currently contacting the guy avguru101. They have a good tract record and even some of the negative comments say a++++ lol.

Brampton is so close I asked if I could come and take a look.

You know if you want to go all in and get the AVR and amp that is what you should do.
It's not like any of us "needs" any of this stuff, we get it because we want it.
