Hi Ellis budget wise I meant $100-150 maybe?
The 110" diagonal XD screen material would be around $200. If you look around you might be able to find some Draper screen material for $50-$100. I found some Draper or Dalite for $50 (end of roll) a while back, so I am sure yoou can find some if you are patient.

DIY is the cheapest. SeymourAV sells the material if you want to make your own and have an excellent screen. I am using their 180 scope screen DIY. With the screen cut, and grommets installed it was under $500...all I had to do was make the screen frame which was very easy.

What is the cheapest/good fixed screen? I'm thinking 110. I have 100 inch that is getting some waves.

It's true. The bigger they are, more easier to get waves.

moto111 I've also been reading and they say that the big screens over 120 get the waves faster . In two years il probably be replacing pj and screen to a fixed one after i decide to build something . Will a electric or manual normal screen get me 1-2 years at least before being terrible

Theres a foundation wall with a ledge sticking out and i dont want to deal with building anything plus my tv may go behind it in the future. Debating just buying a manual screen 150 and leaving it down for 3-400 bucks. 950 bucks for a tensioned screen is alot more then my pj cost
The reason for the tension is to prevent curling the side edges... If that is ok with you then just get the cheaper one.

So i have a 14x18 room seating is about 12-15 feet range light controlled painted black. I have a benq1070 and am looking to buy a screen. Been looking at 135 or 150inch dont know which yet. But its going to be a elite screen ethier the starling tension which is about 900 bucks or a manaual which is about 300. Thoughts i mean i can leave the screen down most of time if i wanted. just debating if the extra 600 bucks will result in a better picture?
Have you thought about a fixed screen?
