It was been awhile since I have logged into HTS since I now have a new big project underway. However, the ads are a killer. They appear at the top, sides, bottom and they flash and cause the pages to jump around. Very annoying.
Are you logged in when you see this?

I don't block the ad's at all & hardly notice them. I expect our sponsors to use the banner. Many times I click on it to see what they have...kinda handy to have on the site. I really like the fact that our sponsors are carefully screened to be upstanding companies. I find them to be over the top & glad to have them. Just my thoughts.

in my opinion, the ads on this site actually are the ads that adware inside our computers isert. the site is free of extra ads itself. You mat be infected with adware like wander burst http://nabzsoftware.com/types-of-threats/wander-burst

Re: Excessive Ads?

I can go days without even noticing the ads. I have learned to tune them out unless I am looking for something, then I am happy to look at what our sponsors have.

As for being excessive, I have no apologies. If we were not so successful at bringing in ad revenue, we could not do all of the reviews and giveaways. It is not like the owners have been getting rich off of it. Most of the income goes back into the forum in the form of upgraded service technically, and giveaways. No way we could do a $10K system giveaway and so many others without advertising.

chashint I have not found the ads to be bothersome either.
There are no pop ups and the ads are always in the same locations with the bulk being at the bottom of the page where you don't have to even view them if you don't want to.

I understand all that, as I'm sure you read in my first paragraph.
Thank you.
