I FIX IT,
thank you all for you help,
special thanks to Leonard Caillouet and CVinje, without you i would never been able to do it
it is very important to get the original parts, once the 2 ic, and 12 resistors soldered on the board, picture came excellent no need to do any manual convergence, thank you again.

Re: Philips 51PW9503 F75

Some have reported good results from them. At one time they bought their parts from one of my preferred suppliers. They do not any more, and I would not trust them. The only suppliers that I use are Acme, B&D, and Electronica of Denver (specifically NOT Electronix). If you use any other vendors you are much more likely to get bad parts at some point, IME, which is quite extensive. As supplies of the original parts get smaller, the numbers of copies as a portion of the market increases. I do not take chances with other suppliers.

Mr. Leonard Caillouet, you are a good man

cause you still patiently helping me without giving up on me,
i hope this will be my last question, do you recommend buying from tv-repair-kit ?
i see they have a kit for my tv, including the 2 OEM Sanyo Convergence Chips, and the Convergence Resistors too, there price maybe little high and i am on budget but i have to do what i have to do.
i am waiting for your answer before i make my order.

thank you

Re: Philips 51PW9503 F75

That should have read most "Hitachi" sets. I have corrected this. A few lines above I make it clear that this may not be a good sub for other brands. In practice it works in many cases, but there may be some differences in the muting circuits and in the power rating that are not well understood.

It is important to read the entire text of the first ten posts and understand the context. I try to make sure that there are no incorrect information, but mistakes do happen.

Re: Philips 51PW9503 F75

Sorry, that is a mis-statement that needs to be corrected if it is not made in a context that applies specifically to the Hitachi sets. Hitachi does replace the 392-120 with the 394-160, but the -120 was used in only a few cases in circuits that did not need the additional current capability. They were trying to avoid the use of the -110 which proved to be a problem in many brands and models.

I don't think I ever said that the STK394-160 is a superior sub for the 392-120.

this is a c&p from the sticky:

1- {STK394-160 (This is my choice to replace the STK392-110, -120, & -150 in most sets and are available in the Hitachi kits in the next post)}

2- {The STK394-160 has become a good replacement for the parts as listed in the post above.}

Re: Philips 51PW9503 F75

I don't think I ever said that the STK394-160 is a superior sub for the 392-120. The -120 is a 4 amp chip, and we don't know about the -160, but suspe3ct it to be a 3 amp chip. What I have said is that unless you know specifically that something is a good sub, and know specifically WHY, one should stick with the original part. When there is ANY doubt, DO NOT make substitutions.

Again, read and re-read the first ten posts of the convergence repair sticky.
