Re: AT Screen vibration

Well if the Danley doesn't move the screen I do not think most of us would have an issue. Keep us updated in case my wife lets me change things up someday

Re: AT Screen vibration

I will let you know how mine goes in a couple of weeks... I have the Danley DTS-10 firing up in front of the screen, about 6" away.

Re: AT Screen vibration

i have a infinate baffle speaker manifold just to lower right of screen. I have not had any issues with screen vibrations or ripples during a movie.

Re: AT Screen vibration

I guess it would depend on how tight the screen is. I asked the same question a year ago and was assured by someone that it wouldn't be an issue. I have 3 M1's from Chase ( I know its not the same as 10 subs) right behind the screen and it doesn't cause issues

AT Screen vibration

Im currently researching DIY AT screen and would like to give it a shot. My primary concern regarding the screen is my subwoofers. I have four 10" subwoofers built into the front wall where the screen is placed. The subwoofers are on either side of the screen right now, but if I build a new screen, it would be much larger and would cover the subwoofers.

How much physical vibration should I notice through the screen if any? Obviously, none if I can help it.
The subwoofers would be pretty close to the screen (2"away best guess).
