Panasonic PT-56wx52cf Rear projection arch in screen...

Hello all!!
Having a problem with my rear projection TV, I just replaced the CI's and now I can get it to align properly, the screen is in an arch and I cant get it fixed. Anything I can do to fix this? I do notice that after replacing the CI's the screen is not scrambled anymore so I just need to be able to adjust the picture.
Thanks

Can you adjust all areas of the screen with the service menu convergence controls both vertically and horizontally? If so, you need to align the image. If not, you did not repair the problem.

Looking for me, just google my username. I have used the same one for most sites for many years.

Yes I can move everything around the only one is in the Convergence Menu 1 it shows a green + the fills the screen, I can move it left and right but not up and down.

Please read the first ten posts of the convergence repair sticky in the DIY Repair forum VERY carefully.
http://www.hometheatershack.com/foru...e-repairs.html

You probably have a bad IC or open resistor or an open connection. It is very common to put in new ICs and miss an open connection or resistor and damage the new chip.

After reading your posts it seems like I should have done ALOT more when I was in there. The website that i red didnt really mention any of that stuff. Do i need to pull the board again to fine the resistors or do you know what they are, I did noticed when I turn the TV on one go red hot and and off . I was going to ordered them and replace them.

Many repairs are easy, but there is often what I call "the rest of the story" that you don't get from the bits that most share online. If you cover all the possibilities that I mention in the sticky, you could still have issues, but the vast majority of these repairs would be covered by the info those first ten posts. You should refer to the schematic to be sure which resistors to check and replace any that are damaged or suspect.

Alright so I pulled the board out again and I did find that I had a solider join!! MAN I know better then that! Any ways I can not for the life of me fine where to get the 2.2ohm 2 watt resistor. I have ebayed it and cant find them. Do you have a spot where I can get them? I just need one. It is bad.

Hey I just talked to a local store and they have a 2.2ohm 5watt 5%, will that work? I know in some electronic stuff you can use a higher wattage but not lower.
Thanks
