Question Philips 60pp9202/17F Dead 9 Blink code

I have a Philips rear Projection Tv 60pp9202/17F with a DPTV305F Chassis. The Problem is I think it is Missing a Board? Called an ACS. I have a schematic that shows component layout and it shows this board in the print and there is a space where it should go but not there?. This is the Basic Version and I know they have a more advanced version with another tuner with a lot more rear RCA inputs. I have seen that board and it does have an ACS board on it. My Problem is I have been to two TV Repair shops with the chassis in hand and a picture of the layout print and Neither shop can give me an answer to this board missing or not? The Problem is the set will when plugged in the LED Light will light Religiously for 20 seconds then go out and have a 9 blink code. If I unplug it and try again same thing 20 seconds then 9 blink code. Dead No Picture No Sound. I have read some of the schematic and done some preliminary voltage checks. Standby 9v, 15V a few others OK. There are two 130 volt lines on this set. a 130VS and 130VHV both OK. I read something where the HOP Board sends a signal to a Particular Transistor 7807 that it turns on the High Voltage beause this Flyback is different than most other sets. I Need to know If I am Correct that this Chassis is missing the ACS/CNTRL Board and If so do you know a Part number or where I can get a Board? Can Fix things if all the Parts aren't there to start with. Ha Ha

Please post in the proper forum. This thread was moved from the Mitsubishi forum to maintain forum organization.

I cannot answer your question specifically, but IIRC, the ACS is where the convergence generator is located. Getting complete and useful information on Philips products has always been difficult, even for ASCs.

If my memory is correct, even if you do replace the ACS, you will have no convergence data and will have to start from scratch. Usually, one would pull the EEPROM from the old one to try to recover the basic setup.

The number for the ACS Panel Assembly (Manual) that I have is 313503710246.

Looking for me, just google my username. I have used the same one for most sites for many years.

I said, I cannot answer your question with certainty. I believe that you do need that board in these sets but I am not certain. Yes, if you did replace the board, you would have to manually re-do the geometry and convergence from scratch, and this is not a trivial problem. I cannot tell you how to do it step by step.
