I made the recess cuts for the Speakon connectors today.

15/16" hole is just right

Nicely done!
They cannot be far from being finished now.

Re: Doug's dual GJALLARHORN build

I've slowed down on the finishing of the exterior of the G-Horns now that I have one in play. I'll ramp back up next week so that I have them finished by December.

I'm loving this sub more and more every day. I re-ran REW, added some different filters for the miniDSP and rebuilt my house curve, removed double-bass from the 818 to my mains which sounded good with the LMS-Us sealed but overpowering honky mid-bass with the horn, increased the CC XO to 80hz, and now it is silky smooth, effortless, seemingly unlimited LFE.

Pacific Rim last night - I was wiped out half way through and had to turn it down. I have been in "let's see what this baby will do" mode and things in my house are starting to break. I saw it, so time to behave myself for a day or one. Good times!

Man, I can't even imagine what two of those will be like! Crazy!

Awesome to hear things are going well with the Ghorn.

Do you know of anyone who has built the dual 15 version yet?
