Re: Tapco J2500

About 30 minutes east of Dallas.

I would be willing and even prefer to meet up with someone around DFW to hand this off and avoid shipping.

Re: Quieter Fan Mod for Behringer EP2500

I deal with installing high temp equipment in racks at work quite often and what you say actually can work as long as you take into consideration a few things. Just moving air around the amp will...

Re: Quieter Fan Mod for Behringer EP2500

Hey guys, I'm wondering if someone might be able to help me with something. I tried a quick keyword search and did not find anything.

I would rather not give another person/website my information...

Looking for OEM EP4000 Fans

Does anyone have some of these lying around that they don't want?

I got my EP4000 from a friend who did the fan swap and it was great until the other night they sound like the bearing is bad. I...

I have one of these amps for sale. Just tested it on my sub and boxed it up; everything works great. Already have two amps so this one is no longer needed. Asking $230 plus shipping.

For those...

Re: Need Input: Exodus vs TC vs AE

Interesting, I didn't realize that THX level output was dependedent on room size. As far as everything else I agree with what you have said about room placement and EQ, but I'm slightly confused why...

Re: Need Input: Exodus vs TC vs AE

Thanks for those graphs. I was a little suprised at how the AV15 keeps up with the LMS-R despite having a much lower Xmax. I guess thats the extra efficiency. Overall the output on both look...

Re: Need Input: Exodus vs TC vs AE

Would an EP2500 for each be ok?

Could you post that model with the LMS-R in that size of a box powered with 1500 watts? Or maybe show me what program I should try to use.

Re: Need Input: Exodus vs TC vs AE

Yes, same size as before. About 1500 cubic feet sealed off from the rest of the house. Likely won't change for another few years. Hopefully in my next setup the room will be much larger and I...

Re: Need Input: Exodus vs TC vs AE

I thought the LMS-R would be power hungry.

No problems with my Mal-X, its just a large box. (24'' cube) Overall output in my small room is fine for what I need. The reason behind two smaller...

Re: Need Input: Exodus vs TC vs AE

True, but I would appreciate the info regardless.

If someone has any time could you please model up the 3 options I have listed above? Curious how they might compare.

Thanks

Need Input: Exodus vs TC vs AE

I'm looking to get a couple of small sealed boxes (~18x18x18) for my room and I'm curious if anyone has some input on the options I'm currently considering.

Currently have a single sealed Mal-X...

Re: 18" Maelstrom sub PR combo package

Matt,

I also own two of these drivers and I'm curious to know what you mean by this. I'm unfamiliar with an isobaric sub. Just perhaps the OP might be interested to know as well, but feel free...

Re: New Q18's. What a difference!!!!

Thanks for the replies guys.

There are a few reasons why I don't want to use my second EP2500, but the extra cost of electricity isn't really a factor. Fan noise and heat are a couple of the...

Re: New Q18's. What a difference!!!!

I currently have a single sealed Mal-X powered by an EP2500 in a 6 cubic foot box and I'm looking for a change.

Due to relocating some of my furniture and I now have a pretty decent sized place...

Re: 24'' Sealed Mal-X Modification Ideas

Quite a few views and no reply so I'm guess this place isn't probably the best place to ask about that. Thats fine, in any case I think Kevin should have all the business and I shouldn't take away...
