Full Marty decorative chest

This sale is for the box only, so no driver or amp. This is setup to run a Dayton 15" classic, but the port is large enough for an Ultimax 15". I ran the Dayton classic 15 in this box for a few years...

Re: Small vented vs large vented Winisd question

I have attached some screenshots showing eq settings, input power, excursion, and box parameters. I have the boxes designed in CAD and I really want to cut them this weekend, but I want to make sure...

Small vented vs large vented Winisd question

I currently have a 12 cubic foot vented enclosure and now I am switching to two 4.5 cubic foot vented end table subs on each side of the couch. While modeling in Winisd, I am showing the same output ...

Right you are. I used a super cheap od 15 in a 4 cubic foot box and it sounds ok on its own (although a bit "boomy"), but I can't handle the different frequencies coming from two different sources...

Re: Single LLT vs dual sealed vs dual small ported

I think I may go for a sealed 15" and try to EQ it to best match the LLT. I would just go with the dual 15" sealed, but I can't part with the sub I just built 3 years ago. My only other option would...

Single LLT vs dual sealed vs dual small ported

I built a 12 cubic foot LLT about 3 years ago and I am very happy with it. My issue now is that there is not much transparency with a single sub. If you sit in one corner the bass is amazing, but it...

Tv too close to the ceiling?

I have a mantle with a 4" tall center channel, which yields 32" of vertical space for a tv. I know this is not ideal, but it's all I have to work with. I am looking at a 55" vs a 58" tv, with the...

Re: Angled ceiling speakers?

I'm now thinking that I may just try to talk my wife into letting a short center sit on the mantle (like a Polk S35) and then throw up some Jbl Sp6II or Sp8II in the wall. If anyone has any better...

Angled ceiling speakers?

I am looking to get the best setup for my new TV that will be above my mantle with an 8' ceiling. There will be about 5" total difference between the height of the TV and the distance from the mantle...

Re: Bad audio mixing?

I am thinking that they are using a different codec, but I have not figured out which one. I am also thinking that using a phantom center may be causing some interference when it is trying to mix...

Bad audio mixing?

I was watching "The Grand Tour" on Amazon Prime and the last two episodes seem to either have terrible audio mixing or some different kind of encoding that part of my system does not like. Right from...

Dead i nuke?

My inuke just pops and buzzes my sub even if there is no input. I even unplugged the output and the amp still kicks the fan into high speed after a few seconds. I took the cover off to check for dust...

Re: First Build-Full Marty 15" Table

I should have added more as to how the sub actually sounds, but it is truly amazing. I LOVE watching movies just to be able to feel them and be so much more immersed.

Re: First Build-Full Marty 15" Table

The only thing that did not go well was getting my amp set up. I had never used a rack-style amp like this to power a sub and it seemed to be very difficult. I contacted Behringer and told them that...

Re: Inuke help please!

I read in another post that you need a 4 pole speakon connector, and I only have a 2 pole. This may be part of the problem. I am going to get a 4 pole and get a splitter for the LFE out so I can use...
