When you open the shield, bridge the gap with a 100ohm resistor and 100pf capacitor in parallel.

A sealed box is usually about half the size of the ported one for the same driver. You might want to chuck in a few bricks when you do your temporary de-porting

I run an EP2500, essentially the same amp, and the earlier Art Cleanbox.

I spent ages tracking down hum and used optic fibre in part of the signal chain. This fixed my earth loop problem, but...

The response from the panel is made up of cancellations and re-inforcements due to the energy exiting each of the wells at a different phase. My understanding is that it takes a few cycles for this...

The minimum distance is based on three times the lowest wavelength diffused. This is an industry convention, but Ethan Weiner reckons you can be closer and still get benefits. He has some videos on...

Although I wrote the software, I've not built a studio. I would say use whatever depth you can live with. Perhaps Bryan from GIK will chime in with a more informed answer...

Version 2.03 released to fix a bug - the text report for 2D diffusers incorrectly stated the physical well depth for normal (non-inverse) panels.
