Re: Need help getting started

Not sure what you are trying to do. if you just want to hear something on output then plug instrument into the input either L or R and adjust all ( 4 knobs) levels to mid including mix knob and you...

Re: Need help getting started

here is the simplest setup for measuring frequency let's use right channel as example.
Presonus usb to your notebook. internal card disabled. REW started and PreSonus input/output selected.
no ASIO...

Re: Need help getting started

To make things simpler, just disable your internal computer soundcard in device manager. so when you use REW only the PreSonus input/output will get selected.

Re: Summed frequency response?

yes thank you. I've used Trace Arithmetic merge and A+B and average before and don't seem to get the results i think i should be seeing.
oh well.

Re: REW Sound Card Database

I'm expecting a Behringer U-PHORIA UMC202HD 24-Bit/192 kHz USB Audio Interface this week will do some frequency plots on that.

Re: voltage divider resistive probes ?

THX. so far every probe I've made either effects the low roll off or hi roll off. let's see how close a value we can get to 4530 and 499 .

Re: voltage divider resistive probes ?

ok thank you AudiocRaver. I will give that try.hopefully it will not effect the low end of sound-card frequency response as much as some 9 x probe.

Re: Average the responses?

Also when I apply the offset dB to raise or lower the frequency response in order for them to match and then merge the two frequencies, the merged plot still has the different dB at merge point.

Re: Average the responses?

Thank you. I've tried the merge function it leaves a dip it does not sum the merge point.

How does the (Average the responses) feature select the frequency where it combines the frequency response?

Re: REW Sound Card Database

And this is my ESI [email protected] which I've always used for measurements. don't get any flatter than this up to 24k. too bad they don't have this in USB.
